Our story
A Shop That Treats You Like Family
Family Auto Repair is exactly what the name says: a Modesto shop on S Santa Cruz Avenue where the mechanic knows your name, explains what's actually wrong, and charges a fair price to fix it. Our customers tell the story better than we can. One drove away from a Toyota dealership after paying $180 for a diagnosis that went nowhere: we found the problem and fixed his Prius for $300 out the door. Another won't take her Honda anywhere else. Whether it's a warning light, a strange noise, or routine upkeep, bring it by. We'll tell you straight what it needs, and what it doesn't.
- A fair-priced alternative to dealership service
- Experienced master mechanics
- Friendly, straight-talk service

I was lucky enough to find Family Auto Repair, they fixed my Toyota Prius for 300 dollars out the door, the guy is a well experienced mechanic and a humble man, I highly recommend this place!”
